Growing up, my mom is a fairer skinned, more spanish, filipino woman like, light skin, dark black hair. My dad is more brown, and i was an adventurous kid who loved to be outside outdoors. Still am. So i was on the darker side of i was more brown, more marina than was something else than most kids i grew up with. I was like one of i think i was like the only filipino girl growing up. Yeah, so it had a lot to do with, like, my own personal journey, accepting myself now. My skin color is beautiful. Now my brownness is beautiful. Now my filipino like culture heritage, this skin tone that i have is beautiful and accepting that knowing like i don't need to be more fairer, lighter skinned to be perceived as beautiful and me living my lifestyle. I love being outdoors. I get darker in the summer and i love it, and that's something that i wanted to share through my art as well.
