Cherry Cayabyab (she/hers) is an immigrant business owner and CEO of KAYA strategik LLC – a national equitable strategy, implementation, data and community engagement WMBE consulting firm based in Seattle with high profile government, philanthropic and nonprofit clients. KAYA means "capacity" in her native Tagalog. Cherry has developed and implemented equitable policy and systems change with the public and private sectors, culturally relevant capacity building funding programs and resources, technical assistance and inclusive engagement for over twenty-five years. She has an extensive history in community and civic engagement organizing with immigrant, refugees and BIPOC communities on a local and national level.
