My Mexican side (paternal great grandparents) are originally from Romita, Guanajuato in Mexico but emigrated to Santa Barbara, California in the 1920's.

For my mother’s parents, my grandfather was Jewish German and escaped from Germany when Hitler was coming into power and things started to get bad for the Jews there.  My grandmother’s parents were from England and Ireland respectively.
